About this trip

Kokino is a 3,800-year-old megalithic observatory that NASA ranked among the oldest in the world. Set on a volcanic hilltop about 90 km from Skopje, its carved stone markers were used by Bronze Age people to track the sun and moon. The views over the surrounding valleys are unforgettable — a short, scenic drive with a genuine sense of discovery.
